Day 1: Pick up from Jammu Railway Station and proceed for Pahalgam (280 Kms) which is around 9-10 hours drive. Pahalgam was once the most popular hill station for the Indian Film Industry. This place is famous for its rich scenic beauty, healthy climate, vast meadows, adventure tourism and its breathtaking views. Also see the first hill resort of this circuit, Kud (1738 m) on the way.
Day 2: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and explore places around Pahalgam like Betab Valey, Aru Valley and Chandanwari. Proceed for Srinagar in the evening and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 3: After breakfast, proceed for Gulmarg (54 Kms) which is the most famous & scenic hill resort of Kashmir. Free at leisure for rest of the day. You may enjoy horse riding and Gandola ride upto the peak heights of Khilanmarg. Back to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 4: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to houseboat. Visit the famous Shankryacharya Temple, Mughal Gardens viz; Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Chashma Shahi etc. and other famous tourist places like Pari Mahal, Botanical Garden, Nehru Park etc. Enjoy Shikara ride in Dal Lake. Have evening walk through Boulevard Road on the banks of Dal Lake. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 5: Early morning after breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed for Kargil (205 Kms) via Sonamarg. On the way you will pass through Zojilla Pass which connects Ladakh with Kashmir valley. Reach Kargil in the evening. Check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Kargil.
Day 6: On the way, visit Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahab Gurudwara, Alchi and Likir Monestary. While reaching Leh, complete rest for acclimatization is must to avoid high altitude sickness. It’s very important to drink plenty of water, and to not over-exert yourself while wandering around Leh.
Day 7: After breakfast, visit Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame, Leh Fort and other important tourist destinations at Leh. In the evening, explore Leh market. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 8: En route visit “Khardungla Pass” (18360 ft.) which is the world’s highest motorable road. Check into the Hotel/Camp. Visit the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You may also enjoy ride on double humped camels at this place. Visit Deskit Gompa in the evening.
Day 9: After breakfast, check out from the Hotel/Camp & visit Samstanling monastery. Back to Leh in the evening. Check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 10: En route visit Changla Pass which is third highest road in the world at a height of 17350 ft. Pangong Lake is located at an altitude of 14500 ft. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the banks of pangong while appreciating the changing colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Back to Leh in the evening.
Day 11: After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drop at Airport for return journey with sweet memories of Ladakh Tour.
